The annual Online, Open and Flexible Higher Education Conference 2016 (20th & 21st October) took place in Rome hosted by the University Telematica. The Minister of Education opened the event (see video) and over the two-days NIDL staff was visible throughout the conference programme. In total, members of the NIDL team presented 10 papers, including a brief invited Plenary by Professor Mark Brown on the last afternoon of the conference. More details of the papers presented by our team can be found in the conference proceedings and/or on the research outputs section of the NIDL website.
The NIDL is particularly active in the European Association for Distance Teaching Universities (EADTU), which organises the conference, and currently Seamus Fox and Mark Brown serve on the Supervisory Committee.
